Very nice work. I play poker with your hubby. I used to like to watch that Wiliam Alexander guy "fire it in" on PBS. That Bob Ross ain't no good. Hehe. I admire artists since I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler. Later
Steve, Thanks a bunch :) I love getting comments and I get sucked into those painting shows also, can't help it. Bob Ross's "happy trees" will be missed lol. I like to paint the sky when its golden, think Thomas Kinkade but less fairy tale settings. Kristin
Well yeah, you're right, the "happy lil' trees" will be missed, but I think it was that curly-haired 'fro thing that he had going on that got to me. My buddy used to color (colored pencils, not crayons...lol) album covers and was quite good. He gave it up though. Too bad. Keep posting and I'll keep reading. Tell Dave he still owes me for those wicked beats he put on me in the Pot Limit DADI (1st blogger event that I ever played.) I won't forget that anytime soon. :)
Oh man that is so funny. He told me that story and I asked him if you called him a Donk... he said no but you havent let him live it down. Thats classic. Really neat about the album covers, anything I would know? Or does he have a site? My sister is into colored pencils and water color. She is fourteen and has some real talent. K
Prolly not, unless you're into heavy metal. Again, prolly not. Hehe. Water colors? I never was able to do much with those. Only those kids' books with the paint already in the borders that you just used water on to fill in. I did play a token tournament a few days later with Poker Poison and Dave was there. He went BUSTO, but I got my token, so that felt better. :) Tell Dave to message me on Yahoo when he wants to play a table...I'll take him for everything he owns.
